To learn more about the specific needs of Central Texas nonprofits and their boards, Greenlights conducted an intensive research study to evaluate boards and the issues with which they struggle.This inaugural report, released in April 2011, highlights eight key growth opportunities for nonprofit boards of directors.

This report, released by Greenlights in 2009, contains information about the 6309* 501(c)(3) public charities in the Austin MSA. In the report we address whether the amount of nonprofits is a problem or opportunity, and what donors and board members can do in light of the information.

This survey, administered by Greenlights and United Way Capital Area in 2009, shows that 66% of Austin area nonprofits experienced an increase in demand for their services and, over the same period, 54% experienced a drop in contributions.

This survey, commissioned by Greenlights in partnership with RGK Center at The University of Texas, and United Way Capital Area in 2007, aims to better understand characteristics and career paths of executives, how leadership transitions will impact organizations, and to inform the further development of strategies to address the pending generational shift in leaders.
